There's a flavor in this beer that I can't quite recognize. Every time I take a sip, I feel like I could almost say what it is. Then I think, try to speak, and fail.

My thoughts were leading me toward a tanin from some wood I've smelled before, but I don't see any sign of wood on Naylor's site. I'm left to think that maybe it's just a property of the Bramling Cross hops, which I'm completely unfamiliar with.
