2008.3.22 @ 12:40 Pours a deep brown with a large light tan head. Head has great retention with some spotty lace. Aroma is beautiful. Hoppy with a grapefruity punch, backed by a hefty dose of rye. Taste is equally as nice as the aroma. A hoppy burst with some citrus notes and a nice rye backbone. A perfect bittering bite on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Drinkability is moderate. Moderately highly alcohol and bitter notes slow the drinking, but is definitely easy to consume. |
