2008.2.24 @ 11:43 This lambic pours a deep purple color with subtle brownish hues. A light pink head appears and just as quickly leaves. The aroma is great, reminds me of jam. A general fruitiness showcasing blackberries. First taste is mildly tart with with a big blackberry flavor. yeast is subtle but apparent. Also a little dry. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. Drinkability is medium to high as the flavors are not overwhelming, but it could definitely be too sweet after a while. |
