2008.4.26 @ 14:46 Pours black and is completely opaque. A large two inch frothy tan head sits on top with excellent retention and some nice lacing. The aroma is quite nice. Notes of banana, clove, and dark roasted malts are all present. The taste is also quite nice. Hints of banana, dark roasted malts with chocolate flavors that are fairly bitter. Delicious. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with good carbonation. Drinkability is moderate due to moderately high alcohol and big flavor. A pleasant evening drink. |
