2008.5.11 @ 20:13 "Japanese-style beer," the label says. Brewed with rice and sake yeast (and some barley malt and hops). The body is a light amber color. It pours with a half inch or so of tan-gold head, which eventually disipates to leave the glass looking like apple cider. The taste is sweet, with a slight tang almost like ginger. It's not a caramely sweetness, though, and it doesn't stick to the tongue much. Goes great with teriyaki or lemon-seasoned spring veggies. |
