I brought a six-pack of this home with me from my trip to Vermont a week ago, since I didn't have time to make it to the brewery.

The description on their website is pretty accurate - roasty with hints of chocolate. It pours a very dark brown color, with no real head to speak of. It's unfiltered, so there's some sediment floating around and stuck to the bottom of the bottle. But, I couldn't find any information about whether it's naturally- or force-carbonated -- it's light, in any case.

In all, not the first beer I'd reach for if I really wanted either a chocolate stout or a creamy oatmeal stout, but I wouldn't be disappointed if someone handed me one of these.
