Light maple flavor and smooth oat-filled mouth feel reminds me of a perfect bowl of oatmeal. Plenty of carbonation keeps this beer from being too heavy on the tongue, though. Clear and caramel colored, with an eight-inch or so of tan head makes for a nice look in the glass. A sweet nose pointed my imagination to pancakes and bacon, but even as dessert this beer was great.
