2008.8.7 @ 17:00 Pours a nice hazy amber color with a large inch and a half slightly yellowed head. Good retention and a bit of lacing. Aroma is ok, but not the best smelling IPA. A mild hoppiness boasting mostly citrus. Slightly sweet malt presence as well adding some caramel. Taste is ok. Some citrus hoppiness with low bitterness. A nice sweet touch adding a bit of caramel. Mouthfeel is thin and a bit watery. Carbonation is fine, but pretty gentle. Drinkability is moderate. Decent flavor and low alcohol make for a seasonable brew. However, this IPA is boring and uninspiring. Mouthfeel really kills it for me too. |
