2008.7.17 @ 23:32 Pours a deep ruby color with a one inch light tan head. Great retention, and a bit of lacing. Aroma is really delicious. A good hoppiness with some citrus, honey, and sweet caramel. Taste is nice. a nice hop profile, slightly citrusy with some floral notes and good bittering bite. Caramel also present, and although the alcohol is hidden pretty well it is noticeable. Mouthfeel is medium bodied and nicely carbonated. Drinkability is high. Nice flavors go down easy. High alcohol limits the brew slightly. However, I believe it's a decent candidate for the cellar. |
