2007.5.11 @ 07:09 Much less tastier than it should be. |

2007.5.11 @ 08:15 I find the cherry flavor overwhelms the rest of the beer. I usually prefer fruity notes to be accents only, rather than lead flavors. |

2008.2.7 @ 05:35 It's been a while, but I'm gonna go ahead and say that this beer is pretty decent for what it is. A good pick for the non-beer drinker, especially the female ones. You could do worse. Maybe mediocre, but it's still a step above BMC and skunk Imports like Heineken. Way better than Sam Adams Cranberry Lambic, that's for sure. Special beers like this should at least give the brewery's mainstay a run for its money. Not sure this one acheives that. I might still reach for one; but if there's a Boston Lager close by, I might reach for SA's flagship brew instead. |

2008.4.3 @ 17:19 Pours a golden amber color with a strong white head. Beer is notably clear. Aroma is of marichino cherries, sweet malt, and a very light hop. Strong cherry flavor, and a strong grainy wheat as well as caramel. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation. Drinkability is fairly low. Low alcohol makes for easy consumption, but strong cherry flavor becomes taxing. |
