2008.5.28 @ 00:41 Pours a clear golden color with a thin white head with poor retention and some bubbley lace. The aroma has a nice hoppiness to it. Some citrus and pine with a touch of sweetness. Taste is alright. A metallic taste hits me up front, and I am not a big fan of it. A bitter piney hop profile is present also. The metallic taste wears off after the first few sips and the beers growing bitterness draws me in as I delve deeper. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a light carbonation. Drinkability is moderate. Flavors are ok and alcohol is relatively high. It's alright, but nothing too special really. |
