2007.10.7 @ 21:29 Just got back from having this with dinner - it was called "King's Kolsch", though. And really, it wasn't very kölsch-like. While I usually think of kölsch as light, slightly bitter, crisp and clean, this King's Kolsch was rather thicker, buttery, and sweet. On top of all that, it was amber instead of the typical yellow. I still wonder if I didn't get served the "Clocktoberfest" instead. Despite it's non-kölsch qualities, I still liked the beer. Just keep in mind the above description. |
