Pours a dark brown that shines ruby in the light. A thin tan head sits on top with decent retention and some bubbley lacing.

A great aroma with a nice hop profile presents itself. Some citrus and a malty backbone with big caramel notes.

Taste is very nice, but I think I actually prefer the oaked. A bitter hoppiness that is sort of missing a distinct profile. Perhaps it's just elluding me. A strong malt backbone.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a crisp carbonation bite.

Drinkability is moderate as alcohol is moderate and flavors are good. It's a good beer, but I was hoping for a little something more.
