Welcome to BeerRiot! Our goal is to help you find new beers to enjoy, to expand your taste, and to share your preferences with others. In keeping with those goals, we'd like you to keep the following guidelines in mind.
Keep comments on topic. We know, it's the way of beer - inevitably the discussion turns to politics, sports, music, food, religion, love, and many of life's other interesting topics. However, we really want to focus on the beer itself here. So, please keep the discussion at least tacitly connected to beer.
Do not insult others' tastes. We created this site because we personally know many people who believe either that they only like one specific kind of beer, or, worse, that they don't like beer at all. We've come to realize, though, that the base problem is lack of exposure to beer's variety. As such, we ask that you not insult others for their tastes in beer. Feel free to describe the reasons you disagree with them about the quality of a beer (too hoppy, not hoppy enough, etc.), but keep away from suggesting that their taste is somehow inferior.
Don't spam. If you have an event you want to advertise, please contact the webmaster. We're happy to arrange ad space for you. Don't make an attempt to post about your event on every comment page here.
All content is subject to the approval of the webmaster. We reserve the right to pull any content we deem to be unsuitable for this site. This may include fake beer names, inflamatory comments, or even your user account.
Have fun! You're here to find beers to enjoy. What could possibly be bad about that? If there's anything we can do to make your experience better, please write the webmaster. We love hearing from our users.
Sincerely,
The Management
